THAILAND'S EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGE
One of the key challenges faced by Thailand’s educational landscape is insufficient equitable quality educational opportunities provided for students from low-income communities and from rural areas. This challenge arises from socio-economic statuses, systemic injustices, and unequal educational resources. Vast disparities in educational qualities between different economic statuses and between rural and urban areas hinder students from developing vital skills for the 21st Century. As a result, thousands of students are deprived of learning opportunities that enable them to explore new skills and reach their full potential.
Thai children can expect to receive 12.4 years of education before the age of 18. However, after adjusting for the quality of learning opportunities, the number of years only amounts to 8.6 years of education.
- World Bank Human Capital Index (2018)
Thailand ranked the second lowest among ASEAN countries for critical thinking and the third lowest for English proficiency.
- Global Competitiveness Report (2019), EF English Proficiency Index (2019)
Students in the bottom 20% of poverty-stricken households in Thailand have less than 5% of advancing to higher education, making them 6 times lesser than an average student
- Ministry of Education (2017)

WHAT WE DO
Empowering through Education
We empower students with free and accessible learning opportunities to improve their skills for living in the 21st Century. Our curriculum teaches English communication and critical thinking skills through the exploration of relevant topics. Emphasizing on active learning, we aim to spark new insights and foster self-expression.
Improve Accessibility to Educational Opportunities
We provide free learning opportunities to middle and high school students nationwide. We focus on connecting underserved communities with greater opportunities to enhance their livelihoods. Our students are of low income backgrounds, with the majority located in the rural areas. We also provide scholarships for students who lack the financial resources to study with us.
Cultivating a Community for Learning
We connect students from underserved backgrounds with volunteers from around the globe. Classes are held online through a video conferencing platform. By partnering with low-income public schools, we open our online learning community to students from various backgrounds.
